Daniel Day-Lewis is celebrated not only as a three-time Oscar winner but also as a father of three. Rebecca Miller
Rebecca, one of playwright Arthur Miller’s four children, married Day-Lewis in 1996, the same year he starred in the film adaptation of her father’s acclaimed play, The Crucible. The couple reportedly met at Miller’s home.
A notable creative in her own right, Rebecca has authored novels such as Jacob’s Folly and Total. She has also directed films including Maggie’s Plan, She Came to Me, and The Ballad of Jack and Rose, the latter of which starred Day-Lewis. Additionally, she wrote and directed the 2009 film adaptation of the 2002 novel The Private Lives of Pippa Lee.

Gabriel-Kane Day-Lewis
Gabriel-Kane, the son of Day-Lewis and Adjani, has established himself as both a model and an actor, following in his parents’ footsteps. He has featured in campaigns for notable brands like Ermenegildo Zegna, Paco Rabanne, and Balmain, and taken on roles in films and shorts such as Adolphe, Boots, and Terror on the Prairie. Preferring to work behind the camera, much like Rebecca and unlike his father, Ronan has forged his own path in the entertainment industry. His upcoming film, Anemone, is set to be his feature directorial debut.
Beyond filmmaking, Ronan is also an accomplished painter, holding an art degree from Yale University (2020). He frequently showcases his artwork on Instagram, much of which has been exhibited in galleries nationwide.
Cashel Day-Lewis
Like his older brother Gabriel-Kane, Cashel shares a strong passion for music. His YouTube bio identifies him as a composer who divides his time between New York City and Oberlin, Ohio. He uploaded his most recent composition to YouTube in November 2023 and regularly posts photos and clips of his musical performances on Instagram.
